I’ve worked as a recruiter and recruitment leader in the Biotech sector for the last 16 years, across the UK, Europe and the US. I’m still impressed every day by the dedication and passion that people in the sector bring to their work.
Why Biotech?
The science is fascinating, the impact is huge and the people who work in the Biotech sector are absolutely committed to making life better for patients.
We’re working with people who are curing cancer, finding solutions to some of the biggest challenges in healthcare and saving lives. Along with that, we get to help them find work they’re happy in and realise their career ambitions – it’s easy to get excited about the work that we do.
Over the last 16 years, I’ve worked with all kinds of Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies around the world on everything from recruiting early-career people into manufacturing facilities to identifying and attracting their next CEO.
Personally, I’ve been responsible for over 500 placements in that time, and through my teams have completed more than 3,000 successful assignments. Since starting Singular Talent in 2019, I use that experience to make hiring better for as many companies and individuals as we possibly can.
Volunteering
I’m a Business Mentor for the Prince’s Trust, a trustee of the Moxie Foundation, a small charity that helps people with limited resources to gain employment, and a kid’s football coach at Radyr Rangers FC.
