Where I started

I’ve always had a fascination with science, in particular human biology with focus on the cardiovascular system. This fascination only grew when I studied Biomedical Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University. My studies led me to being part of a UK wide Blood Pressure screening campaign, for which the research was published in the European Heart Journal, ‘Supplements‘.

Alongside my studies I also worked in a “biohacking” company where I gave people whole body cryotherapy along with other holistic therapies.

Why Biotech?

As I was coming to the end of my Master’s in Sport Coaching and Pedagogy, I realised how much I missed being around science. When the opportunity arose to work with people, combing my studies and being immersed in the future of therapeutics, it was something I couldn’t pass up!

Biotech Roles I’ve Worked On

So far whilst being at Singular, I’ve been helping people find the next step in their career in a multitude of scientific disciplines, from Chemists to Biologists and Bioinformaticians. All have equal satisfaction when finding someone their ideal role.

After Work

Outside of work, I play semi-professional rugby and enjoy playing the piano. Both my partner and I have a love for music and going travelling, discovering where our next favourite drop of wine is from!
